The upcoming fifth season of the shonen series My Hero Academia will feature the Joint-Training Arc; in it Class 1-A and Class 1-B face off in a series of mock battles.
Hitoshi Shinso, the boy with the Brainwashing quirk from the U.A. Sports Festival Arc will officially join class 1-A and work alongside his classmates against their rivals in 1-B. Though given the nature of his quirk and sudden entrance to the class; he’s given a wide berth by his schoolmates.

For those unfamiliar, the the story follows Izuku Midoriya, a young man with more valor than strength. Unlike most people, he didn’t develop a super power (or Quirk as they’re called in the series).
This changes when his hero, the number one ranking hero All-Might takes him as a successor, and reveals that his power can be passed down. Midoriya becomes the inheritor of All-Might’s quirk, and is accepted to the U.A. High School in its hero program.
The upcoming fifth season will be the first season to air after Bakugo voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto underwent surgery on his vocal cords last year.
The fifth season of My Hero Academia will premiere on March 27th.
