The previously announced City Hunter movie now has an official title! City Hunter the Movie: Angel Dust will premiere in Japanese theaters later this year in the fall.

City Hunter began as a manga in 1985 by creator Tsukasa Hojo. Since then, multiple anime series and movies have been made based on the original manga, as well as a spinoff series called Angel Heart.

The series experienced renewed interest after a new film was released in 2019, 20 years since the latest film in the franchise at that time.

Many of the films have been brought to the United States thanks to releases by Discotek Media, and even Crunchyroll has brought some of the classic franchise to their streaming service.
