Tripwire Interactive and Torn Banner Studios have announced at IGN’s Summer of Gaming event that Chivalry II will also be heading to consoles.
As stated in IGN’s coverage, the game will support cross-play across all platforms. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will launch at the same time as the Windows PC version, while the next generation versions will launch at a later date.
In addition, the game has several updates. The four classes of fighter now have subclasses, allowing for more customization. Larger battles also mean the addition of “multiple gigantic siege weapons” and fighting even when you are disarmed, set on fire, or missing limbs.

Return to the ultimate medieval battlefield
Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. Players are thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era – from clashing swords, to storms of flaming arrows, to sprawling castle sieges and more.
Dominate massive, 64-player battlefields. Catapults tear the earth apart as you lay siege to castles, set fire to villages and slaughter filthy peasants in the return of Team Objective maps.
Chivalry II launches 2020 on Windows PC (via Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and coming soon to PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
