Julian Gollop, the creator X-COM, has announced Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, a new action strategy hybrid game for multiple platforms.

Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 with a release set for sometime this spring.

A playable demo for the game will launch on February 24th as part of the latest Steam Next Fest. Interested players will be able to check out the game’s online and local campaign, PVP modes, and more.

From the creator of X-COM, Julian Gollop, comes Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids—a unique blend of 3rd person action and real-time strategy.

The alien Brainioids have invaded Earth and stolen all our precious Brainium crystals in their Grav Spheres. Only Chip ‘n Clawz, a young inventor and his robo-cat, can thwart their evil plans by taking control of each sphere, all the way up to the Mothership itself!

FUSION OF ACTION AND STRATEGY
