We’ve learned (via MMO Culture) that Chinese developer Yunchang Game has obtained the IP rights from Capcom to develop a Devil May Cry game for mobile.

The new game is titled Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat, and is likened to an action RPG that is built within Unity 3D. A release is set for sometime next year in China.

Here are the first screenshots:

The report notes the developers focused on the game’s combat system. There will also be online modes including team battles and real-time PVP.

A previous rumor pointed to a fifth proper game in the series, Devil May Cry V, and that we won’t officially see anything for it until next year.
