Chernobylite Igor Story Trailer

The Farm 51 and All In! Games have released a new story trailer for Early Access survival action RPG Chernobylite.

As previously reported, you play as Igor, a former employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant. He returns to the devastated site 30 years later to solve the mystery of his missing fiancee Tatiana. However, the meltdown warped space-time, and the exclusion zone will bring you against twisted horrors.

Along with free exploration of a 3D-scanned recreation of the real exclusion zone, players will need to fight, craft, hire and care for allies, investigate and make difficult choices that affect the future, and the past.

The new trailer delves into how areas have been seized by roaming bandits, and powerful forces pushing and pulling Igor to Chernobyl. As mentioned in the press release (via email), this includes the Black Stalker, only creating more questions. “Nothing in the Exclusion Zone is what it seems, not time, possibly not even your own intentions.”

You can find the abridged rundown (via Steam) below.

Chernobylite is a new RPG survival horror game from the creators of the critically-acclaimed Get Even.

It’s a science-fiction survival horror experience, mixing the free exploration of its disturbing world, and non-linear storytelling with strong RPG core mechanics. Make your choices, but remember: they will not only have a direct impact on the Zone, sometimes you’ll feel the consequences many hours of playing later.

Play as a physicist, one of the Chernobyl Power Plant’s ex-employees, and investigate the mysterious disappearance of your beloved. Try to survive and reveal the Exclusion one’s twisted secrets. Remember, the military presence is not your only concern.

Get ready for a thrilling adventure of survival, conspiracy, horror, love, and obsession. One that will prove to you that it’s not about how you face your fears, it’s about how you survive them.

Chernobylite is in Early Access, and fully launches July 28th for Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store GOG, and Steam), Summer 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and 2021 on PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The PlayStation 4 version will also have a physical release.
