Bobo Bay is an upcoming indie game which brings back old memories of the Chao Garden in Sonic Adventure.

Fans have been asking for a new Chao Garden for decades at this point, and if Sega refuses to deliver then developer NewFutureKids will step up to the plate.

Players will raise and train creatures called Bobos who will compete in competitions and evolve based on how they are raised. Rather than being just a side game like the Chao Garden, in Bobo Bay the focus is on Bobos.

Players will explore the town, ride a jetski to explore, and unlock customizations and new Bobo breeds as they play. You can check out the release date trailer below.

Bobo Bay is set to launch on April 29, but a Steam Next Fest demo is coming on February 23 and save progress will transfer! So make sure to keep your eye on the game’s store page here.
