Though Capcom’s blue bomber has hit a bit of a rough patch lately, his fans still have a tremendous amount of love for the little robot who captured all of our hearts back in 1987. Though Inafune is heading up a new team working on the game’s spiritual successor, for some it just isn’t the same.

That’s where rom hacking comes in, where community member Zynk Oxhyde has released a set of three hacks for Mega-Man 2 through 4 where you get to play as none other than Mega Man’s under-appreciated little sister, Roll.

Titled Roll-Chan, these games (As well as the original Mega Man 1 Roll Chan hack he put out last year) are essentially a sprite hack allowing you to go back through the series playing as housekeeping robot Roll instead of her brother. Even better, you can choose from the classic Roll sprite, or a newer Mega Man 8 style sprite.
