Just downloaded Bon Apetit, considering Sorcery Saga, but I don’t know!

Mostly the usual stuff it seems, but hey, Suikoden 2. No Suikoden 1 there for some reason, damn penny pinchers. Maybe Natural Doctrine but, Vita, can’t do it. Gotta be physical.

I’ll vouch for them String SRPGs if anyone is still willing to buy them. Bad interfaces, interesting mechanics.

Has a PC port of Akiba’s Trip been officially announced? Or should I just buy it for PS3/Vita?

It had an official steam group and it was in their system a few months ago but I don’t think anything’s ever come of that. That said it seems pretty obvious one’s coming sooner or later.

Jeez there’s so many games there I don’t even know where to begin. I’m honestly kinda glad I already own most of the ones that interest me.

Sorcery Saga is a lot of fun, very cute art style. Can be super frusterating when you die deep in a dungeon though.

Just seeing that Catherine header makes me want to play it through again. Really wish I could go back in time and play it for the first time all over again.

So many good sales for Vita but i’d rather own the physical game so no deal, might get Gurumin though. Shame they don’t have the second SK: Bon Apetit pack on sale!

I was kinda hoping some DW Gundam Reborn DLC would go on sale along with the game. Oh well. Picked up Ground Zeroes instead. I always told myself I’d play it as soon as I found it for under $10.

Sorcery Saga is an alright rogue-a-like. It’s not very challenging, but it has a cute art style and will keep you occupied for a while. $7.50 is a nice price for it.

That makes it two of us. I’ve been waiting forever for a price drop on it. I never really went for the physical game since it’s only 400 MB or so, I found it a waste to spend 40 USD on a cart that is so small~.

By the way, the official list is wrong. Portable Ops it’s not discounted, Peace Walker [PSP] is. That one is playable on both PSP and PSV~.

Since I already have almost everything else that interests me on this list I ended up grabbing Neptunia PP and SK: Bon Appetit, unfortunately the Gessen x Hebijo DLC isn’t discounted so that game’s discount is overall lower than it probably should be.

This is why I have two memory cards for my Vita, one for each region. Still a bit of a hassle, but a lot less of a hassle than having to wipe my memory card each time.

I think it’s probably on the sale because it’s clearly inspired by traditional Japanese side scrollers (particularly of the 32-bit era) in its presentation and design. There are afew titles on the list that are from Western developers, but are mimicking genres that are traditionally regarded as Japanese; the Strider reboot, Skullgirls, Pier Solar, Bionic Commando: Rearmed. They’re all not technically Japanese (even though their publishers may be), but they’re Japanese in spirit.

Mem cards are rather expensive though, for that I could just buy Bon Appetite from the german store for the regular price. So far I saw no reason to do so really.

Bionic Commando and Strider are Japanese series at least, even if the current iterations weren’t made by Japanese devs.

I’d say point of origin is more important than who’s working on it, otherwise your just splitting hairs over what counts as western or Japanese, or anything in-between.

I’ll probably get Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny and maybe one of the tales games, but I’m torn between a good deal and having a physical copy.

There’s a lot of good deals here, if I had a working PSP still and more spare cash I’d be in trouble.XD
