Despite their ongoing, post-launch support for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt RED already has another title ready to reveal an entirely new game this year.
The new development was confirmed (via Dualshockers) during the developer’s 2015 financial results conference, where President Adam Kiciński discussed the studio’s plans for the coming years.
The various slides were presented to highlight the conference:
The developer is set to release “a new type of video game format previously unexplored by the studio” sometime this year, alongside The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s expansion Blood and Wine, which is set to launch in the second quarter of this year.
Kiciński wasn’t keen on confirming details for the new game, however he did say the company is “experimenting” and working on things “nobody has ever done before.” The studio is also, somehow, developing another AAA RPG alongside Cyberpunk 2077, which is set to release before 2021.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
