CD Projekt RED has achieved a major milestone few development studios could ever hope to manage: they’ve now sold over 100 million units of their games.

This number consists of their Witcher series alongside Cyberpunk 2077. Probably most impressively is that the majority of their sales comes from the latter and the most recent mainline title for The Witcher was the third title.

In fact, The Witcher 3 is a big reason for them reaching this value as its reported to have reached over 50 million units sold, taking up half of their total games sales.

Cyberpunk 2077 takes up their second best selling spot with 25 million sales, which are likely to grow greatly after the launch of their Phantom Liberty expansion and 2.0 update.

CD Projekt RED’s success has also gone beyond games. Their anime adaption with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners garnered praise and they’ve just announced a live-action adaption for the Cyberpunk franchise.
