Publisher pixelduckoo and developer domkegames have released a playable demo for Cat Isle, their cozy pixelated cat town management game.
The new playable demo for Cat Isle is now available for Windows PC (via Steam) and will give players around 30 minutes of game time. A full release for the game is set for sometime in May.
Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a new trailer:
Cat Isle is a cozy pixel art management game inspired by Japan’s famous Cat Islands. You’ll build and expand a tiny train platform island in the middle of the sea, turning it into lively town for cats.
Features
- Manage shops – Running a town full of curious cats takes careful observation. While some cats seek out fresh sashimi, others are happiest with tea and a nap in the sun. As the island’s caretaker, it’s your job to figure out who wants what and create the perfect mix and balance of shop supplies.
- Unlock decorations with the Gashapon – Spin the decoration Gashapon machine to unlock cute new decorations for your island. Each capsule gives you a little surprise from cozy plants to charming shop ornaments. Collect your favorites and slowly fill your town with personality and warmth.
- Decorate your town – Each building is a chance to get creative. Add plants, lights and decorations to suit both your vision and your cats personalities. Every small detail matters, adding warmth to the town and helping your shops thrive.
- Vibe and chill – Also, remember to slow down and enjoy the world you’ve built. Watch the cats explore, play, and relax. Sometimes, just observing is the sweetest reward.
- Demo features – 30 minutes to an hour experience to see the game mechanics and feel the vibe of Cat Isle
