We’ve learned a new Castlevania Advance Collection rating surfaced in Taiwan, suggesting a reveal for the hotly-anticipated collection is coming soon.
The new Castlevania Advance Collection rating surfaced over on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, for the classic Castlevania game collection’s release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
Here’s the ratings:
The yet-to-be-announced collection was originally rated in Australia back on June 18, with the original rating only mentioning the collection is multiplatform. This new rating actually specifies different platforms.
The name of the collection obviously confirms all three Game Boy Advance Castlevania games are included: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
The previously released Castlevania Anniversary Collection only included a selection of classic Castlevania games, with older franchise titles like the original Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge, among others. Anything released after the early 1990s was left out of the collection – this is probably why.
In recent and related news, Limited Run Games have announced new limited physical runs for a few classic Castlevania games, including Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood for PlayStation 4, and even the original Castlevania: Rondo of Blood for the TurboGrafx-CD.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
