Phobia Game Studio and Devolver Digital have announced that Carrion will launch on Xbox One alongside Windows PC (via Steam) sometime in 2020.

Carrion is a “reverse horror” game that places you in control of a amorphous blob monster ripping and tearing its way through a secret laboratory after escaping from containment. You can check out the Xbox One teaser trailer above, and read our preview here.

Here’s a rundown of the game:

CARRION is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.
