Card-en-Ciel reveals Switch 2 port and Expansion Pass

Inti Creates has announced Card-en-Ciel is getting a Switch 2 port alongside news of a new Expansion Pass.

Their deckbuilding roguelite game is coming to Switch 2 on January 29th, 2026 and users of the Switch 1 version can upgrade for $10.

An Expansion Pass for the game was also announced. The multi-stage DLC will bring new content to Card-en-Ciel to every platform, including an all new story dungeon, “Gal Guardians Servants of the Dark.”

Card-en-Ciel has been available since October 2024 for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.

Card-en-Ciel Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Releasing January 29th, 2026, Card-en-Ciel Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings the acclaimed roguelite card battling adventure to the Nintendo Switch 2 natively, allowing for high resolution 4k or high framerate 120 FPS modes. Players can also swap to mouse controls at any time by changing the position of the Joy-Con 2, allowing for quick selection of cards during battle.

The Card-en-Ciel Switch 2 Edition will launch for $34.99 individually, and with a $10 upgrade pack for owners of Card-en-Ciel on Nintendo Switch.

New Expansion Pass

A new Expansion Pass for Card-en-Ciel is also in development. Content for the pass will be released in stages, becoming available as each DLC pack is launched. Check out the outline below, with more details coming soon!
