Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Tamsoft have announced Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters, a new game sequel in their popular soccer franchise.

Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PS5 with a release set for 2026.

New and Improved Gameplay

Action on the field has been significantly enhanced! New super moves increase the intensity of every part of the game. Now, even when you pass, dribble, tackle or block, you can dominate the field with your own special techniques. Even blocking goal shots gets more tactical!

The new system pits goalkeeper against shooter, allowing both players to experience and counter jaw-dropping super shots and blocks from characters of the original series.
