We’ve learned (via Games Jouhou) that Capcom is planning to add new monsters to Monster Hunter World via free post-launch updates.
The news comes via an interview with game producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Famitsu, where the producer confirmed they’re planning on adding new monsters and things via free content updates.
The hope is that users will play the game for a long time, so they want to add more content for the game post-launch.
Monster Hunter: World is launching worldwide on January 26th across PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming sometime later. The Japanese release is only planned for PlayStation 4. A PlayStation Plus-only beta is currently ongoing, and will end tomorrow – December 12th.
