Capcom’s high-fantasy action RPG Dragon’s Dogma hasn’t gotten a proper sequel yet. However, it’s online spinoff, Dragon’s Dogma Online, could possibly be finally getting a western release.

The news comes from Capcom’s latest development report (via Julien Schu), in which Kento Kinoshita, the director of Dragon’s Dogma Online, said the following:

“With Dragon’s Dogma Online, we aimed to create a world of adventure with long-lasting fun. We created a new story centered on five dragons, with Season One revolving around the Golden Dragon…Now, we are ready for Season Two. This adventure revolves around the Spirit Dragon, with a story that unfolds in an expansive open world.”

He continued:

“Once we have established a solid foundation in Japan I’d like to consider bringing this game overseas, where there are a great many online game players.”

It’s worth mentioning Capcom is planning to release Dragon’s Dogma Online in Taiwan sometime next year, however its curious that Kinoshita talks of the game’s overseas expansion as including “a great many online game players.”
