Last month, Deep Down producer Kazunori Sugiura revealed that the game would be getting a public beta sometime this summer.
Well, summer has come and we haven’t heard a peep since, and to make up for that, Sugiura posted a couple tweets to apologize to the fans:
“Producer Sugiura here. Details on the public beta test are likely to come in July. There’s no excuse, as everyone was looking forward to the information. Rather than development circumstances, we’re discussing with the higher ups the policies for the beta test.”
As an apology, I’m attaching a screenshot (featured above) of the game in development. It’s a dungeon themed after the emotion of “Anger.” I will report again in July.
So there you have it. The screenshot shows off some immaculate armor that appears to actually be in game. For now, that’s all we have regarding the game’s beta, unfortunately.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
