Capcom is reportedly doing a Pacific Rim collaboration with Lost Planet 3.

Both properties share similar concepts, Lost Planet 3 is a game about piloting mechs and fighting akrids (giant alien insects), while Pacific Rim is a movie about piloting giant mechs and fighting giant aliens.

Details are scant but the key factor here is timing, Pacific Rim hits Japanese theaters on August 9th while Lost Planet 3 will be released globally on August 29th.
