Kiro’o Tales, an indie studio based out of Cameroon, have unleashed their African-fantasy ARPG, Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan, onto Kickstarter.
The developer is looking for $45,372 to finish their game, which is set to launch for Windows. Should they make their funding goal, they’re looking to ship the game sometime in April of next year. Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan is an action-RPG that thrusts players into a world of African mythology and strife, where you play as Enzo Kori-Odan, Prince of Zama, and his wife Erine Evou. Following the usurping of their kingdom by Erine’s brother, your goal is to reclaim your sovereignty.
The combat system within Aurion is quite in-depth (and easily the most noticeable part of the game), as the team at Kiro’o Tales seek to reward players who master the game’s combat. You can get a sense of the varying aspects of the game’s combat below:
