Call of Duty: Vanguard Revealed, Full Worldwide Reveal August 19

Call of Duty: Vanguard

Activision have announced Call of Duty: Vanguard after leaks, with a full worldwide reveal coming August 19th.

Players who had won Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale found themselves dying the cutscene after the match; a girl from WW2 shooting at them. Many suspected this was Vanguard, based on leaked materials.

Now, Vanguard has been officially announced with a teaser trailer; though the full worldwide reveal is planned for August 19th. Platforms were not revealed at this time.

You can find the official teaser below.

While yet to be officially confirmed, prior leaks and VGC’s sources claim the game would be developed by Sledgehammer Games; set during World War 2. Along with multiplayer and zombies modes; the campaign focuses on a special team that would become what we now know as the allied Special Forces.

The game will launch along with a new Warzone map, promising to be larger than the Verdansk map. Officially, Activision have announced that on August 19th (10:30 a.m. PT) the Battle of Verdansk event will begin. Prior to that, those who play on any Warzone playlist between 9:30 a.m. PT to 10:29 a.m. PT will earn double XP, weapon XP, and battle pass XP.

We will keep you informed as we learn more.
