Microsoft has finally announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be on Xbox Game Pass, and from its launch day later this year.
While platforms haven’t been confirmed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 yet, it’ll likely ship for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5. A full reveal for the game is planned for the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th – read more about that here.
It remains to be seen if Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 being on Xbox Game Pass from launch day will prevent it from ever hitting rival Sony’s subscription service, PlayStation Plus. Microsoft also pledged to bring the franchise to Nintendo platforms in a plea to finish their buyout of the Call of Duty maker’s parent company.
The decision to include the next Call of Duty game on Microsoft’s service comes after months of rumors and decision making after the tech giant finally completed their massive acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
