Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fully reveals Zombies mode Terminus map

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Earlier this week, Treyarch announced that they would be revealing new information about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies mode. Prior to full reveal, Treyarch released the opening cinematic for the upcoming round-based Zombies survival map – Terminus.

In this reveal trailer, Zombies fans got to see multiple characters being tortured on a prison island. The torture quickly comes to a halt when Maya led by Peck kills the prison’s guards. We learn that Rictofen is still alive and behind everything. With alarms blaring the team separates to secure the prison and find Maya’s brother. This short teaser got many in the Zombies community fairly excited, not only see more information about Terminus but to also see familiar characters.

Treyarch and Call of Duty released a new trailer for Terminus showing off some gameplay elements found on the Terminus map. Zombies fans can see the characters moving from within the prison to outdoors. Additionally, we get a quick glimpse of the Gobblegum Machine.

Omni-directional diving and a new monster-eating trap were showcased. The trailer shows the players being able to activate the cannons to create a black whole device. In the lower levels, the player can see experiment pods. When in a tight space, the character injects themselves spawning a suit of armor around themselves similar to mangler armor.

After escaping the underground area, the party moves by boat to the island where we see flying zombies attacking the player. We then see the boat crash into a zombie horde killing a ton on impact. The Pack-a-Punch bullets also look like they create mini black holes that explode after a short amount of time.

We then see a new wonder weapon (Beamsmasher) that shoots a laser that cuts through the zombies. We then see what appears to be a new perk that upgrades the players’ melee attacks and punches zombies nearby. Finally, the trailer comes to an end showing off the different types of zombie mutations players will need to look out for.

Although the trailer is two and a half minutes long, you can see a ton of cool and exciting things coming or returning to Black Ops 6. The last 20 seconds of the trailer shows players what they can expect when they pre-order Call of Duty Black Ops 6.

Players will get the Reflect 115 Camo Pack 3X Legendary Aerther Tools, 3X Flawless Atherium Crystals, and 3X Ray Gun Cases. The trailer ends with a teaser for Liberty Falls Gameplay and states that Liberty Falls Gameplay will be revealed at Call of Duty NEXT on August 28th.

MrRoflWaffles Adventure

Over the two last weeks, renowned Zombies YouTuber Milo a.k.a. MrRoflWaffles has been on an adventure after looking into the DieIsCast Zombie teaser; this adventure has taken Milo to a Bicycle repair shop in which he received a mysterious briefcase containing a plane ticket. This plane ticket was for Washington DC, in the United States. For the last week, Milo has been uploading new vlogs of him exploring the Potomac River in an area similar to Liberty Falls/ Transit.

After the Terminus gameplay trailer reveal, MrRoflWaffles uploaded 18 minutes of gameplay from Terminus. Early on in this gameplay, we see the new Wonder weapon in action. The footage is zoomed in so it is difficult to see what level it is, but we see Milo sustain multiple hits without going down.

We see a new feature of the Beamsmasher which appears to be a neural blocker that slows/disorients the zombies; this makes it easier for him to mow them down. According to the Call of Duty Intel release, the secondary uses sound waves to disrupt zombies and slow them; this disruption makes them easier to damage.

After showing off the wonder weapon a bit, the footage cuts to somewhere else in the prison; this part of the footage shows off the omnidirectional movement and the ability to be able to pick up the Mangler gauntlet and use it.

We are then shown what appears to be the starting area and salvage on the floor. the next three minutes appear to be the players turning on the power and activating the moving platform to open up Pack-a-punch.

After turning on the power and activating Pack-a-Punch, we see the players taking the boat and driving it freely on the ocean. It appears that there are different docking areas for the boat.

While on the broken-down barge, we see a player throw a grenade that forcefully pulses pushing nearby zombies; from this gameplay, it appears that players can use the boat whenever they want.

The Terminus gameplay video that MrRoflWaffles uploaded shows how massive the map is. In addition to its size, this footage shows the variety of ways players can escape. Even though Terminus is supposed to be round-based zombies, the size of the map gives the feeling that maps may have checkpoints or the ability to save and quit.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 on October 25th.
