Publisher Wired Productions and developer Tomas Sala have released a new and free Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles update numerous tweaks and new content additions.

The new “Architect and Accuracy” update is available now, adding late-game top tier buildings, new faction flourishes, revamped population features, and more. Get the full patch notes for the update here.

The new update comes alongside the news that Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles is also now Steam Deck verified, a nice perk alongside numerous UI and quality-of-life improvements to the game.

Thanks to a host of visual improvements, bug fixes and UI updates, Bulwark has now received official Steam Deck Verified status, so players can take Bulwark with them wherever they go. Build in this beautiful sandbox on the bus, 50,000 feet in the air or aboard a boat (as the people of the Ursee would have intended).

Speaking of boats, new naval units are ready to join the fight! The Mancer Gunboat and Bannerless Berracutta add new powerful Naval Commanders to the fray. Watch as they protect trade routes with overwhelming firepower and devastate their enemies.

Bulwark’s latest update also contains various mechanical changes to how resources behave, brand new high-tier faction buildings, and balance adjustments to combat, giving players more agency when attacking or defending settlements.

Players can pick up these new captains at an additional cost of £0.99/$0.99 and Bulwark itself is currently discounted by 22% as part of the Steam Summer Sale, there’s never been a better time to visit the Ursee and mould it into something beautiful.

Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles has been available across Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
