Famitsu has published its online preview for D3 Publisher’s upcoming Playstation Vita game, Bullet Girls, which is looking a lot more like Senran Kagura mixed with gunplay.
In our initial report, we talked about how the game follows the escapades of a group of young, up-town, high school girls who are members of the elite Ranger Club. This group sees the girls equipping themselves with various guns, and tasks them to perform actual military missions on real battlefields.
The “training exercises” will run the gamut of both offensive and defensive type scenarios, and their objectives will vary between merely wiping out all of your enemies, successfully reaching specific points on the area map, teaming up with other club members, and finally in collecting various items.
One of the core gameplay features that was detailed in the Famitsu preview was the fact that much like the Senran Kagura series, the girls in Bullet Girls have destructible clothing. As they take damage, their clothing gets all torn up, revealing more of what they’re wearing underneath.
Specific parts of the girls’ clothing can be targeted, just in case you wanted to reveal a particular area of the girls. The developers are even providing things to compliment this in the form of cut-in images, and even a whopping 39 portions of erotic acting that heightens the sexuality in the game.
Bullet Girls features a very interesting gameplay segment in the form of interrogation training, where the player can “interrogate” the girls. These are being poised as more advanced types of missions, where players can potentially withdrawal important information from their adversaries on the field.
As indicated by the screenshots both above and below, the interrogations themselves are clearly more of a “hands on” approach, quite literally in fact. The interrogations will involve lots of touching and groping, and maybe even some poking?
We’ve also gotten the first details for one of the girls that will be appearing in the game – specifically the red-headed girl named Aya Honomoto.
According to Famitsu, she’s a leader and a go-getter who likes to approach problems and situations head on. She ended up in the Ranger Club by accident, as her application was mistakenly submitted to it instead of the First Aid Club, her original intention.
You can view some artwork for Aya below:
Bullet Girls is set for a release on Playstation Vita on August 28th in Japan. I wonder how long it will take, if at all, for this game to be localized?
