Publisher Astrolabe Games and developer Smarto Club released a new update for Bubblegum Galaxy adding a new “Study Mode” and more.

Here’s a rundown on the new update, plus a look at the new mode with the game’s soundtrack:

In Study Mode, Haco will join you while she’s working on a planet to keep you company. While in this mode, you can use the built-in music player to listen to game’s HQ soundtrack and set a Pomodoro-style timer to set focus while you work.

Study Mode can be accessed from the Main Menu. You can use it in full screen or in windowed mode; if windowed, you can resize the window and pin it to the top so you can use other applications while running a timer!

When loading into Study Mode, the game will also load the office decorations and costume you have set in the main game. If you want to customize the appearance of Haco or her cubicle, you must load the main game, customize your office, and then exit back to the main menu.

Bubblegum Galaxy has been available for Window PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
