Brutal indie shooter HMUR launches a playtest

Publisher Valkyrie Initiative and developer FoxusSexus have released a public playtest for HMUR, their brutal indie shooter.

The indie shooter launched a public playtest on Steam today, offering an exclusive reward for a unique golden pistol skin for completing the playtest.

HMUR is an upcoming brutal boomer shooter set in a classified Soviet facility. The game embraces the spirit of 90’s shooters with twitchy movement and low-poly graphical style.

Here are some details about the game and playtest, as well as a trailer:

HMUR is a brutal, retro-inspired first-person shooter that combines Soviet aesthetics with over-the-top action reminiscent of iconic ‘90s shooters. Players must survive a catastrophic incident at a classified Soviet facility, blasting through waves of enemies while managing scarce resources. Speed, precision, and aggression are the only path to survival.
