The Rogue Prince of Persia developer Evil Empire has announced they’ve taken over post-launch development for Brotato, the multi-million selling game by Blobfish for PC, consoles, and mobile.

The new handing off of work will enable Blobfish to start working on brand-new games. To kick off Evil Empire taking over post-launch work on the game, they shared a look at a new mob, The Gobbler:

“I’m excited to see how the game evolves under the direction of such a talented team and what fresh perspectives they’ll bring to the table,” said Blobfish CEO and founder Thomas Gervraud in a press release. “Above all, though, I’m just eager to dive back in and have fun playing Brotato again.”

Brotato has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
