Indie developer Blobfish has announced Brotato is getting paid DLC this summer alongside a much-demanded feature for cooperative play.

Brotato will get its new “Abyssal Terrors” downloadable content alongside a free local co-op update sometime this summer.

Brotato has just announced the launch of its first DLC, “Brotato: Abyssal Terrors”, along with a significant free update that introduces local co-op for up to 4 players. The DLC, which can now be wishlisted on Steam, plunges players into the ocean depths, offering 20 new challenging waves, new characters, fresh weapons, and new items to enhance the gameplay experience.

Alongside the DLC, the free update brings game balancing, fixes, and additional content, ensuring an enriched solo or co-operative battle against the fiends from the depths this coming Summer.

Brotato has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
