Playism have released a new trailer for FYQD-Studio’s upcoming sci-fi FPS Bright Memory: Infinite, showing the game’s villain and some gameplay.
As previously reported, players control Sheila, a member of the Supernatural Science Research Organization (SRO); the same character from Bright Memory. Players will need to navigate through a time traveling spaceship, battling ancient samurai thrown into the present, and exploring the wormhole that has appeared on Earth.
The game boasts high-speed 3D combat combining guns, melee, and special powers. Graphics will also have dynamic scenes, such as wind, rain, leaves, and pebbles being sucked toward wormholes.
The news post on Steam explains the new trailer features the game’s main villain; General Lin. He leads the SAI, who reached the wormhole first; setting up defenses so the group may use it for their own ends. The end of the trailer also features a brief snippet of new gameplay.

About Bright Memory: Episode 1
During the initial stages, since it was pretty difficult to estimate the number of copies that would sell, I decided to create the kind of game that could start out as a demo and later use crowdfunding support to develop further. I’ve finally managed to amass enough time and funding, so the action and general gameplay will remain as-is but the story and stages are all being reworked. From here on out, I will no longer be developing Bright Memory: Episode 1 any further, but I plan on making regular “experimental” additions of various new features, etc., which players will be able to try out. Once development of Bright Memory: Infinite is complete, it will be distributed as a separate game, but those who have already purchased Bright Memory: Episode 1 will receive a special “100% off” discount coupon for Bright Memory: Infinite prior to its release.
Bright Memory: Infinite launches 2021 on Windows PC (Steam) PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
