Breach TD is an all new tower defense game being released on mobile devices in the summer of 2014. It is being developed by Space Rhino Games, who are based out of Puerto Rico, and is currently on kickstarter.
Breach TD is going to be like no other tower defense game you have played before. Space Rhino Games are making this title different in many ways, mainly in the sense that there won’t be towers. Instead of towers that don’t move, they will have Guardians.
Every Guardian will possess different abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. They will also be able to be upgraded, like towers, to become stronger versus the enemies.
Players will only be able to take four Guardians into battle. You will have to plan your defense and attack strategically. Do you want to favor defense over offense, or maybe take a balanced approach?
Also at the beginning of the match, you will be able to choose four different relics. Relics are battle cards that can be used at any time during the match.
They have the ability to turn a game around for you by allowing the player to summon war machines or send out healing drones. Space Rhino Games says that there will be a huge number of relics and Guardians to choose from.
Breach TD will have 3 vs 3 multiplayer. The player has two team members, but each is fighting only one player. Unlike other tower defense games, you will not only try to defend your side, but you will have to control the attacking phase.
Space Rhino Games say that the matches will be short, intense, and powerful. The game will use a tug of war system for up to 20 waves.
The tug of war will favor whoever is doing better against the waves being sent. After 20 waves, the game will become a sudden death match, where an unlimited number of waves will be unleashed and the last man standing wins.
