This week’s Jump magazine has brought a pretty surprising, yet still somewhat expected reveal. Square Enix is working on a complete sequel to Bravel Default, titled simply … Bravely Second. Yeah, I scoff at Japanese naming conventions often, but come on Square.
The game is being developed for the Nintendo 3DS, and is set within the same world as the original game, but taking place several years after the events from the original. The first character introduced is Magnolia, the silver haired girl (pictured above) who is described as “clad in the moon.”
A release date was not confirmed, but we’ll keep you posted. The Western release date for Bravely Default is coming, for European gamers it’s hitting the 3DS on December 6th, and for Americans it’s coming February 7th.
