Bravely Default: For The Sequel Has Tons of Improvements

Square Enix has revealed Bravely Default: For The Sequel, a semi-sequel to the original that features a lot of improvements and enhancements.

Courtesy of the new opened website for the semi-sequel, we now know the game has over 100 improvements from the original. What are these improvements exactly?

  • Revised Battle System – For the Sequel will feature a completely new battle system.
  • Updated User Interface – The game will get a complete UI overhaul.
  • Enhanced Battle Tempo – The semi-sequel will have an increased speed of battle, thanks to small adjustments made to motions and effects.
  • Event Viewer – Scenes that have already been viewed can be replayed at any time.
  • Multiple Language Options – For the Sequel will feature voices in Japanese and English, and text in Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.

There are many more improvements made to the game that will be revealed in the coming months leading to its release.

Bravely Default: For the Sequel is coming this December 5th in Japan. Nintendo has not confirmed whether or not For the Sequel will be coming West.
