The latest issue of CoroCoro (via Ruliweb) has revealed new Pokemon coming to Pokken Tournament.
Featured above, the Pokemon Braixen, Garchomp, and Mewtwo were all confirmed in the magazine, for the Wii U version of the game (it remains unclear if this means they’re Wii U-exclusive).
It’s worth mentioning that a previously teased fourth Pokemon, who includes the character “ラ” (ra) in its name (as none of the above Pokemon do), has yet to be revealed. We’re expecting that on January 15th, so stay tuned.
Pokkén Tournament is currently out in Japanese arcades, and is coming to Wii U in Japan on March 18th, followed by a spring release in North America and Europe.

January 13, 2016 at 8:50 amThey can add all 718 Pokemon to the game, but unless they fix the mandatory gamepad issue it’s gonna be dead on arrival.

January 13, 2016 at 10:07 amBraxien instead of it’s evo? Interesting.
Its a shame the custom controller is needed and it jacks the cost up. But we’ll see what the core game is like. The fact it did poorly in the aracdes in Japan might be a sign though…

January 13, 2016 at 3:31 pmWait, you need to buy that crappy controller the arcade version used? Why? There’s no reason. There’s nothing special about it a Wii U controller can’t do is there?
