The long awaited Braid: Anniversary Edition is finally set to launch in 2024, as announced by original developer Jonathon Blow.
It was originally slated to release way back in 2021, but has had no mention of a release date since passing the planned release window.
The remastered version of the game is meant to celebrate the game’s 15th year anniversary, where it was originally released for Xbox 360 back in 2008.
It’ll have “hand-repainted artwork” that players can switch between and the original visuals. Here’s a look at the new remaster with a trailer:
Meanwhile, they also plan for there to be a heavily detailed commentary track with 15 hours of audio and even some visual prompts by creator Jonathon Blow and nine other developers.
Braid: Anniversary Edition is set to launch on April 30, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Netflix.
