Taiwanese developer Childhood Studio is developing a game you’d probably expect to be coming from a Japanese studio like Marvelous. The game, Boxing Angel, is bringing scantily clad highschool girl boxing to mobile users.
Featured above, you can view a trailer for the game, which shows off the customization and the actual bouts that go down in the ring. You’ll be tasked with taking an up-and-coming female boxer through local matches, hopefully leading you to the nationals, and eventually – world championships.
You’ll be able to set your fighter into rigorous training sessions, enhancing their stats and performance. There are reportedly hundreds of costumes for you to choose from, and the roster is quite eclectic, letting you combine shoes, dress, hairstyles and more to appear like a nurse, or a professional swimmer. The game also features a full Japanese voice cast.
Matches are conducted via swiping on screen to throw punches at your opponent. If the gameplay is any indication, matches are quite fast, and you’ll have to manage your stamina between attacking and blocking. There’s also an online component, which lets you fight against other bishoujo fighters around the world.
While a release date wasn’t mentioned, you can peruse more screenshots on the game’s official website.
