Actor/comedian Bobby Lee broke up with longtime GF because of Starfield

Starfield

Even though Starfield won’t come out now until 2023, the massive upcoming RPG from Bethesda Studios is already a big influence on peoples’ lives.

Comedian/actor Bobby Lee has preemptively broke up with his longtime girlfriend for the game – news confirmed by Bobby in an interview with podcaster Ryan Sickler.

While Bobby and his influencer ex-girlfriend Khalyla split earlier in July, we’ve only learned now it’s because of Starfield, Bethesda’s next flagship RPG.

To say Bethesda RPGs are big cultural influences in the wake of Skyrim’s ongoing legacy is an understatement – I’ve personally put hundreds of hours into both the Fallout and the Elder Scrolls franchises.

Starfield is going to come out in about eight months,” Lee said. “I know when Starfield comes out I’m going to be playing that thing 16 hours a day baby.”

It’s worth noting Lee and Khalyla had been in a relationship since reportedly back in 2013, and from it they even launched a podcast together.

When questioned if he’s seriously going to marathon the game for most of the day, each day, at launch, Lee doubled down.

“I don’t give a f**k. I’m playing it 16 hours a day and I don’t want to be in a relationship where they’re like, ‘we’re going to the park,’ and I don’t want to do that,” he said.

Bobby continued, “if you want to go to the park with your friends, I’m all for that. […] From now on, I think like I’m just going to be alone.”

Starfield is planned for release in 2023 on both PC and a console exclusive for Xbox Series X|S.
