BNA: Brand New Animal PV, Cast, Staff, and Japanese Netflix Streaming Exclusivity Announced

BNA: Brand New Animal

The official website for Trigger’s BNA: Brand New Animal has revealed the anime’s cast, staff, their exclusive Netflix streaming deal in Japan, and a new promotional video.

BNA: Brand New Animal‘s premise (via Anime News Network) is that animal-humans finally revealed themselves in the 21st century, after “being hidden in the darkness of history.” Highschool student Michiru Kagemori suddenly finds herself turned into a tanuki-human, and flees to “Anima City” to live with the other animal-humans.

Michiru meets a wolf-human named Shirou Ogami, who deeply despises humans. While Michiru learns about the ups and downs as life as an animal human, she tries to uncover why she suddenly turned into one, and gets involved in “a large incident.” The official website and PV also show Shirou in a human form.

Other characters include Nazuna Hiwatashi (Muchiru’s human friend who wants to become an idol), and Alan Sylvasta (CEO of Sylvasta drug manufacturer, and part of a “distinguished family”). Two as-of-yet undescribed characters include Barbaray Rose, and Mary Itami (romanization not official).
