Both the latest Famitsu and Dengeki have revealed yet another new game from Koei Tecmo and Gust.
Dubbed Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusion, the new game will launch for both PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. Atelier Rorona, Atelier Totori, and Atelier Meruru character designer Mel Kishida is handling both character designs and overall supervision of the new IP.
Likened to an uplifting RPG of sorts, the game focuses on protagonist Hinako Shirai (voiced by Yuki Takada), who is a rising star ballerina. She injures her during her preparations for an upcoming contest, and becomes unable to dance.
Sometime thereafter, Hinako runs into two strange girls who grant her mystical powers, which allow her to transform into a “Reflector.” This gives her the ability to fight with a seemingly glass-made sword. While her appearance changes in her Reflector form, she still fights to someday dance again.
Development on Blue Reflection is reportedly 30% complete.
