Gacha game Blue Archive is celebrating the 2nd year anniversary since its release in Japan with a new anime series.

With the celebratory news come multiple things both in game along with outside products such as a new soundtrack, popup shop, and more.

Arguably the biggest announcement from this celebration would be the reveal of an anime series coming out based on the game. However, no details were given on the upcoming Blue Archive anime though.

Blue Archive has dabbled before with animated releases in relation to the game, such as one they released back in the summer showcasing many of the girls. They also have a manga currently in serialization.

Since this is the celebration of the Japanese release, many of the things shown for the game itself will not be appearing in the Global version of the game for some time.

However, right now for those playing the Global version outside of Japan, there is the Abydos summer event going on right now.
