Remember that tease for a seemingly new BloodRayne game from Arc System Works? Well the teaser site has been fully revealed, and it’s definitely a new BloodRayne game – that is for Japan at least.

Featured above, you’ll see a fully localized version of BloodRayne: Betrayal, a sidescrolling action game that WayForward Technologies developed back in 2011 for the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

The game never made it to Japan, despite it being a shoe-in for a localization port. Arc System Works is actually handling the publishing of the Japanese localization, which in Japanese translates to BloodRayne: Crimson Slayer.

BloodRayne: Crimson Slayer is hitting the Japanese Playstation Network on May 1st. You can view some artwork and stuff via the game’s official website.
