Bloodborne producer Masaaki Yamagiwa has joined Team Ninja, confirming his new tenure at the Nioh and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin developer.

The developer announced Masaaki Yamagiwa has joined Team Ninja in a follow-up tweet to Sony Interactive Entertainment independent developer boss Shuhei Yoshida, who had dinner with Team Ninja boss Fumihiko Yasuda and Yamagiwa.

While Yamagiwa was producer on Bloodborne, he also produced more experimental Sony Japan Studio titles like Tokyo Jungle and Deracine. Yamagiwa left Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio back in February of this year.
