We’ve learned that Bloodborne is getting an official card game.

The new card game was announced by Eric Lang, designer on XCOM: The Board Game and A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, among others.

“For those who follow me and have gotten to know my silly codenames for games-in-progress, this is Project Dream,” Lang said on Twitter, alongside an image (featured above) of the game’s box art.

“Bloodborne is indeed licensed. It is a simple but highly deep and interactive card game,” he also confirmed on Twitter, saying that it will be published by distributor Cool Mini or Not Games. It sounds like the game will entire card-based, as it won’t have miniatures of things from the original PlayStation 4 game.

Lang also noted the card game will be “based on the Chalice dungeon runs, where players compete to kill monsters and take their blood.” A round of the card game will reportedly last about a half-hour, with the ultimate goal being to recreate the game’s feeling of death, and despair.
