Sony Computer Entertainment has begun divvying out e-mails to certain lucky PlayStation Network users to partake in an alpha test for Bloodborne, the upcoming collaborative action game from Sony and From Software. News of the alpha test was confirmed via users on NeoGAF.

The alpha phase is described as a “small-scale test” to “gather community feedback and data to improve Bloodborne’s online experience,” according to the email sent out with the invitation.

Sadly for us American users, the email and registration appear to be limited to European Playstation Network users. You can apply for an alpha key here, a link provided by NeoGAF’s NSider.

While a specific date for the Bloodborne alpha was not confirmed, the retail game is coming in early 2015.
