I’m sure at one time in everyone’s life, cancer has taken away someone important from you. It’s one of the scariest words in the English language and having lost my father and two grandparents to it, I know how cruel it can be. So too does Blizzard, who has revealed a quest in Diablo 3 that pays tribute to one of their own that passed away too soon from the disease.

The new event is triggered by entering Kanai’s throne room, a seemingly unused section of the new Ruins of Sescheron that players had been curious about for awhile now. Apparently, a portal will now open up during any day in the month of March that allows you to adventure alongside of Kanai and take a trip to his personal stomping grounds.

This quest will forever be a part of the game, becoming available every March and for the entire month for as long as the game exists.
