Arc System Works has announced an open beta for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle in North America.

The open beta will run from May 9th for users who pre-ordered digitally, May 12th for everyone, and will run through May 14th. Upon the closing of the beta, an offline demo will be released the same day.

Details regarding the Nintendo Switch open beta are coming sometime later.

After the open beta ends, an offline demo will become available to all PS4 owners for download. Digital PSN pre orders will be granted access to both the full 20 character beta roster, as well as access to the 2P VS mode. Non pre order demos will include 4 characters, 1 from each universes represented in the game, and VS mode against the CPU.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is launching for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on May 31st in Japan, followed by June 5th in North America, and sometime this summer in Europe.
