This week’s Famitsu (via Hachima) has given us a teaser at BlazBlue series creator Toshimichi Mori’s next game.
The news comes via an interview with Mori, where he reveals his next game isn’t a fighting game, but he didn’t elaborate beyond that.
In regards to BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Mori said there won’t be another updated version, as Central Fiction has enough content for a long time. He promised further balancing to the game post-launch, and said they’ll add more characters if there’s enough fan demand.
As for another BlazBlue sequel, Mori said if you see the story mode in Central Fiction, you’ll understand where the series can go. However, he teased that Relius, Hazama, Es, and Naoto reveal very noteworthy information.
Finally, Mori said that if he was to make another fighting game series, he wants it to completely shake up what fans expect from the genre.
BlazBlue: Central Fiction is launching this Thursday, October 6th in Japan, November 1st in North America, and on November 4th in Europe.
