Focus Entertainment have announced the release date of their Slavic-inspired action-adventure game, Blacktail.
Blacktail releases December 15th for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series XIS.
In Blacktail, players get to forge the story of the legendary witch of the woods, Baba Yaga. The game follows a teenage Yaga, who must survive in the wilderness after being exiled from her town for witchcraft.
Yaga must unravel the secrets of her past and harness her budding magical talent to outsmart a dark forest full of spirits and monsters from Slavic folklore. In addition to Yaga’s magic and potion crafting capabilities, players will have to master archery as they fight enemies and hunt for food.
Your choices in Yaga’s journey will determine if she becomes a benevolent forest guardian, or a nightmarish wicked witch that terrorizes rural communities.
