Dengeki recently held a livestream for Bravely Second, of which we’re featuring the small bit we found online: the reveal of Geist, the Exorcist.

The game will have about 30 jobs, the stream revealed, so expect a lot more updates from us.

The Exorcist, Geist

The Exorcist, whose name seems to be Geist, has the ability to undo certain things and make it as if they had never happened. For example, if a character takes damage, the Exorcist job can reverse this. The ability can be used to revive others, and it can even be used on enemies. This ability can reverse up to three turns’ worth of changes, and it appears to affect HP, MP, and BP.

The character is voiced by Takumi Yamazaki, and is designed by Yokoyan.

The Tomahawk, Aimy Matchlock

Aimy Matchlock, the holder of the Tomahawk job, has a distinct Hiroshima dialect, and the developers have wondered how that would be dealt with. They joked that they wanted to make it as difficult as possible for the translators, so, while no announcement has been made with regard to localization yet, it’s certainly on their minds.

Buster ships, Maou

The stream also discussed the Buster Ship, which is used to fight Maou in space. Multiple buster ships will be available, and the more that are used, the more the Maou’s levels are lowered, which makes it easier to take them on.

Edea, Agnes reveals

It was also revealed that Edea will be returning to the sequel, and the figurine of Agnes that comes with the Collector’s Edition of the game was shown off during the stream.

Demo updates

The Buster ship, the Maou, and the Exorcist will be added in an update to the Bravely Second demo.

According to Games Talk, Bravely Second will cost 6,458 yen, and it will release on April 23 in Japan, for the 3DS.
